Send a TINYpulse gift card

Everyone loves getting recognized for their work. It is a critical component to employee happiness and long-term engagement at an organization. If you want to boost your recognition program, the TINYgiftcard feature might be exactly what you are looking for. 

TINYpulse gift cards are Cheers that also include a monetary reward redeemable through Tango Card. You need Admin or Super Admin permission to enable the feature, deposit money into your Rewards Bank, and give TINYpulse users permission to send them. 

Prerequisites

Anyone can receive a TINYpulse gift card, but you must satisfy these two requirements in order to send one: 

• Belong to an organization that has enabled TINYpulse gift card

• Belong to a role in TINYpulse Engage that allows you to send a TINYpulse gift card

Send a TINYpulse gift card

If you satisfy both of the prerequisites, you will be able to see the Include a TINYpulse gift card option when you are sending a Cheer. If you do not see it, then you do not have access to it, so please reach out to your administrator for more information.

Here is the step-by-step process for sending a TINYpulse gift card:

1. Go to the TINYpulse web app, and navigate to the Dashboard in your Employee View. 

2. Enter the Cheers recipient, enter your message, and attach an optional photo or GIF as you usually would. 

3. Click Include a TINYpulse gift card and enter the amount you would like to send.

   • Check with your administrators to see if there is a recommended or approved amount for each TINYpulse gift card at your organization.

   • Amounts are displayed and sent in the currency selected by your administrator.
     
     

4. If your company is multi-national, you may be able to select the currency of the TINYpulse gift card. Click the dropdown menu if it is available to adjust the currency (this first needs to be enabled by administrators). 

5. Click Send to finish. 

The recipient will now get an email to notify them of the Cheer and a separate email with information about how to redeem their TINYpulse gift card on the Tango Card website. A full list of Tango Card merchants can be viewed in the Tango Card Reward Catalog. 

All transactions are final

Please note that all TINYpulse gift cards which are sent, are final. TINYpulse gift cards sent in error cannot be canceled or revoked except in extreme cases. If you feel as though you fall into this category, reach out to our Support team, and we will work with Tango Card to see if there is any possibility of canceling the card.

But neither TINYpulse nor Tango Card guarantees that funds can be returned to your rewards bank so send with caution!

Add Tango Card as a safe sender

Since TINYpulse gift cards are powered by Tango Card, you will want to make sure to add the email address that the gift card links are sent from as a safe sender. This will ensure that you and your users are able to receive and redeem the gift cards that are you are sent. To do this, please follow the instructions in our How to Add our TINYpulse Emails as a Safe Sender article, but substitute [e-mail] for [e-mail].

Troubleshooting lost emails

If you or another user is not receiving the Tango Card email that accompanies a Cheers with a TINYpulse gift card, let us know by reaching out to our Support team and we will be happy to help you by resending the email. To help speed up the process, please make sure to add [e-mail] as a safe sender before reaching out to us.
