Engage Trends
Overview
- Engage Trends automatically trends your survey data by the breakouts listed below. This makes trending reports accessible anytime they are needed.
- Engage Trends allows Admins to compare and slice by any attribute, allowing them to dive into the details.
- Engage Trends provides a Custom Trends feature, enabling Admins to create trending metrics from any set of questions. We understand that every organization is different, and an organization can have multiple different metrics. This helps Administrators easily evaluate the ROI of employee engagement initiatives and make timely, data-driven decisions.
Data Scope
- Engage Trends only includes completed Engage survey data.
- Engage Trends only includes scale and eNPS questions.
- Note: Multiple-choice, binary, and matrix grid questions are not supported
- “None” category is not included.
- All reporting follows the same anonymity rule across the TINYpulse platform.
- All data displayed on the page is subject to the filters at the top of the page (Audience slicing, Time Range, Audience options).
Permissions and Roles
- Automatic Categories and Questions Trends: available for Super Admins, Admins, Group Admins, Group Viewers
- Custom Trends visibility across Engage permissions:
- If created by Super Admins and Admins: visible to every admin (Super Admins, Admins, Group Admins, and Group Viewers).
- If created by Group Admins: visible to the creators themselves, Super Admins, and Admins
- Group Viewers can only view, cannot create Custom Trends.
- Access to survey data remains unchanged. This new reporting utilizes only the data you already have access to, based on your Engage permissions.
Additional filter - All Company/Any Audience filter
Unlike the audience filters available when viewing a single survey report, Engage Trends has a new "All Company/Any Audience" filter. This is especially helpful because Engage Trends displays data from multiple surveys conducted over a period of time that have been sent to varying audiences.
- The “All Company” option only includes surveys sent to "All Company". If Admins want to drill down to an audience group within the All-Company surveys, they can use the Attribute filter to narrow down the results.
- The “Any Audience” option includes all the surveys, regardless of the audience. This is useful when Admins want to see the trends across surveys, knowing that this group received surveys with different audience configurations.
Example: You can use the “Any Audience” option to trend across the following surveys with different audiences.
March Survey sent to Sales and Engineering
May Survey sent to All Company
July Survey sent to All Company
August Survey sent to All Company
December Survey sent to Sales and Marketing
You can trend the results for Sales to capture the responses from all five surveys, just as you can trend the results for Engineering from the four surveys they received.
