Question trends are based on normalized-formatted question prompts, regardless of the source of the questions (Content Library or Custom).
Questions will be trended if they satisfy both two conditions:
They must be of the same question type.
They must either have exactly the same prompt (question text), or derive from the same TINYpulse bank question.
Example 1: “How happy are you at work?” and “How happy are you at work?” are trended together.
Example 2: “How happy are you at work?” and “How happy are you at TINYpulse?” are trended together only if the latter is edited from the original How happy are you at work?
If It is edited from another bank question, or is typed from scratch as a purely custom question, it will not be trended.
Example 3: “I highly recommend our organization to the people around me” as an eNPS (11-point scale) question and “I highly recommend our organization to the people around me” as a 1-5 scale question are not trended together.
Benchmark data are only available for questions originating from the Content Library. In a question trend line chart, if there are some dates with benchmark data and other dates without it, that is because the latter questions were created from scratch instead of being selected from the Content Library.
Example: “My manager provides timely feedback” has a trend line over January 1, February 1, and March 1. The question in the January and March surveys was selected from the Content Library during survey setup, so it has a benchmark score. The question in the February survey was typed out as a custom question during survey setup; hence, no benchmark was available.
Top Trends
Top Trending Questions highlight up to five categories showing the most significant positive improvement and up to five questions with the most decline.
Overall progress for each question is calculated by determining the percentage change between its most recent average score and its oldest average score within the selected timeframe, using the Time Range filter.
All Questions (Table)
“Question” - Survey Question
“Category” - Associated category to question
“Last Asked” refers to the date the last survey was sent for a specific question.
“Latest Score” refers to the score associated with the most recent survey send date.
“Vs. Previous” is the delta compared between the “Latest Score” and the previous score.
“Trend” is a scaled version of the trend line.
A search function is available to look up question/s.

Indicators
“Highest Score” is the highest score of the specific question within the chosen time range for the chosen audience.
“Lowest Score” is the lowest score of the specific question within the chosen time range for the chosen audience.
“Biggest Rise” refers to the largest percentage change between two consecutive data points within the selected time range for the specified audience.
“Biggest Fall” is the largest delta percentage between two consecutive data points within the selected time range for the specified audience.
Below each indicator, a survey send date is associated with the metric. Clicking on it will open the corresponding Survey Response page.
When multiple surveys within the same question share the same highest score, lowest score, largest increase, or largest decrease, the date displayed will be the most recent among those surveys.
Progress Over Time
Admins can break down the graph by attribute of interest. Note that when the Audience slicing page filter is applied, the “Compare By” filter for this chart will disappear. Instead, the Trend graph and the Attributes breakdown table will show the sliced data for the group selected in the Audience slicing page filter.
Admins can hover over the chart and see detailed scores for each data point. Clicking on “Go to survey” will open the report for that survey in a new tab, allowing Admins to dive into the details and gain more context around that data point.
Breakdown
The Breakdown table displays the top 3 attribute groups with the highest and lowest Overall Progress values. Overall Progress is the delta between the score of the latest survey send date and the score of the earlier survey send date for that group.
