Localization - Language Codes
The Language Code is a code with a classifier or a specific label representing the preferred language of a person. You can update your user’s language setting using the locale column of your user import. Leaving the locale value blank will default to US English as their preferred language.
If your account is enabled to issue emails and surveys to employees in languages other than English, when that person is sent their survey invite email, it will be displayed in their preferred language. When they click the link to take the survey, it will also be displayed in their preferred language. They can opt to change their language preference at any time within their profile setting.
- Prepare your user upload file, as you prepare to bulk upload users, by adding a column with locale as the header.
- For each employee, allocate a locale code for their preferred language (see below).
- Save and send the file to your CSM.
To update the preferred language of your employees, choose the proper language settings for the employee(s), following the below Language Codes:
