Share and Export Engage Results

For those of you looking for even more ways to analyze and share feedback from your company's TINYpulse surveys, you can export results into a few different formats to share with your teams.

Export Your Survey Results

Click on the All Surveys page in the Share Center tab in the left navigation menu to view an entire history of your TINYpulse survey results. Both Pulse and Flexible Surveys appear in the list. Select Create Report to share results via a link, export to a PowerPoint presentation, or export to .CSV . 

You may be wondering, "Which format is right for me?" Continue reading to figure out which type of report will be best for your needs.

Shareback Report (Pulse Surveys and Flexible Surveys)

A Shareback Report will allow you to view the report, make edits, then share the results to your employees via URL. We always recommend holding a TINYpulse review meeting with your teams in-person to open up channels of communication and promote transparency within your organization. However, if you are short on time one week, have remote employees, or want to follow up from your TINYpulse review meeting, sharing the URL is a good option. Just copy the link and send it to whomever you wish. 

Please note that the link is public and anyone with it will be able to view the results. And remember, any Shared Notes made on Responses and Shared Comments made on Suggestions or Cheers will be visible in the Shareback Report.

 

Edit the Shareback Report

While we recommend showing all of the Pulse information in your Shareback Reports, you can also customize the information you share with your employees. Only want to share the Pulse Responses? Have a particular Suggestion that you do not want to display in the Shareback Report? You can do all of this and more with our editing tools.

To hide an individual Response, Cheers, or Suggestion, just click on the Show toggle to the right of what you would like to hide.

To show an individual Response, Cheers, or Suggestion that has been hidden, click on the Hide toggle to the right of what you would like to show.

To hide or show one of the Responses, Cheers, or Suggestions sections, click on the Hide all or Show all buttons in the top right corner of the section.

Choose which aspects of your Primary Attribute data to display in the Shareback Report

Do you want to save different Shareback Reports about your Primary Attribute? Before you click on the Create Report button for a Pulse, sort your data using the By Primary Attribute filter to the left of your list of Pulses. Then, you can use the Create Report -> Shareback Report button to view the data for only the selected Primary Attribute subcategories.

If you want to create multiple Shareback Reports to distribute at the same time, make sure to save each of them as a PDF and then share the saved PDF file instead of the link. Otherwise, only your most recently saved version of the Shareback Report will be visible.

Export to PowerPoint (Pulse Surveys only)

 

The PowerPoint export is perfect for executives and directors who want an overview of the company's TINYpulse survey results without digging into the details. You will see information like a snapshot of the survey results, the last thee Wins, etc. Having a pre-built presentation at the touch of a button will save admins tons of prep time TINYpulse and make it easier than ever to present results to your teams.

Export to .CSV (Pulse Surveys and Flexible Surveys)

Export to a .CSV file if you want to analyze the data in-house and create your own charts and presentations. The analysis does require more work but some companies prefer to deduce their own insights from the raw data. The .CSV export produces eight individual files to help you analyze all aspects of your survey results. 

When you are viewing the results for an Engage Survey, you can also export the results to .CSV by clicking on the Export button on any tab in the Responses page view of a survey, or by locating it in the All Surveys page in the Share Center tab. 

After clicking Export, locate your downloadable .CSV file in the Downloads page in the Share Center tab.

Export All of Your Engage Survey Data

If you are looking to export all Engage data from the day you started using TINYpulse, head on over to the Downloads page in the Share Center tab and select the Export All option.

From here, you can decide which items you would like to export such as Responses, Suggestions, Notes, Comments, Cheers, etc. Select them all for an entire data dump. 

Note that this export does not include Onboard, Retention, or user data. Also, this export option is only available to Engage Super Admins and Admins. Group Admins can still export Engage data by survey for their assigned Groups in the All Surveys page in the Share Center tab.
